# Build: "APSIS — Luminous Series" — a football boot hero that glitches between three editions

## 0. Brief

APSIS (fictional) makes football boots. Its Luminous Series is one boot in three editions named after the brightest objects in the universe: Pulsar (red), Quasar (gold) and Blazar (blue). The hero is one black screen. In its centre plays a film loop: an island of football pitch drifting in space, a portal torn through the turf with light falling into it, and the boot hovering in a floodlight beam above it; the film fades into the black at its edges. The edition name is set huge and thin either side of the boot (PUL | SAR). Changing edition is a short glitch: blocks of the frame slip sideways, split into red and blue and switch to the next edition out of order, in about 0.6 s and without any flash. A loader draws an orbit whose dot travels with the real loading progress; then the orbit flies onto the portal and the film comes up from black.
